The Best way to see Antwerp!!!
stevejFMy wife and I were in Brussels and wanted to see Antwerp. We found this tour that picked us up less than 1000ft from our hotel and took us all the way there and back. Yasmine was our tour guide and was extremely knowledge about the city, its history and all its famous landmarks, paintings, statues and buildings. The tour was both in English and Spanish, so feel free to book if you speak either language. I think Yasmine also speaks French, but she didn't during the tour. The tour was a little longer than it advertises due to traffic. We started out at 9:30am and got dropped off at 5:30pm. The city itself is really pretty with all kinds of modern shopping options available, a train station that will rival any Catholic Church in the world, several famous statues and a ton of restaurants. We had some free time in the middle of the day so we decided to eat in the Vlaeykensgang alley, which is a quaint little combination of restaurants and residences that dates back to the 15h century. We also go to do some shopping in the area for our grand niece which was great as well. We would highly recommend going on this tour if you are looking for a day tour of Antwerp.
Antwerp art architecture & cultural experience
Luise_MSeeing the canals, visiting the Reuben paintings in the church & exploring the city on foot. We made an optional tour to the Diamond Museum which Antwerp is famous for. Our guide - Jasmine knew some lovely panoramic places to visit & gave us time to explore places on our own. She was considerate & had a no rush policy. She even pointed out the king's residential palace & the royal glass houses & shared her knowledge of Belgium's Royal family.
